SUCI(Communist) sounds caution about an imminent invasion of Cuba by US imperialists, calls for united protest worldwide
Shri Provash Ghosh, General Secretary, SUCI (Communist), has issued the following statement today: “After abducting Venezuelan President Maduro in a most reprehensive manner violating all international laws and norms through a covert military operation, launching an unprovoked barbaric armed attack on Iran with its proxy Zionist Israel in tow, the US imperialists are now turning their gun on socialist Cuba whom they, with draconian sanctions and oil blockade, have strangled with a severe energy as well as socio-economic crisis. War monger US imperialist President Donald Trump is leaving nothing to chance to spread US domination in every part of the world. By bringing down Cuban government, Trump is seeking to establish unhindered hegemony in entire Latin America. After Cuban revolution in 1959 which overthrew US backed despotic Batista regime, Cuba posed a threat for US imperialists since it became a source of inspiration for Latin American people in their fight against US imperialism. US conspired again and again to overthrow Cuban government by orchestrating counter revolution, but in vein. Now by imposing complete economic blockade and creating severe crisis for the people of Cuba, US is now raising a false allegation against Raul Castro, former Cuban President as a pretext of attacking Cuba. But courageous Cuban people are refusing to bow down and have boldly declared ‘Homeland or Death – we will prevail’. We along with all anti-imperialist freedom loving people hail them. We strongly condemn this international gangsterism and overlordism of the US imperialists, unbridled in absence of the mighty socialist camp, and call upon all anti-imperialist peace-loving people of the world to come out to foil the heinous conspiracies of the monstrous US imperialists and their cohorts to overturn Cuba and establish their hegemony on that land.”
