SUCI(C) severely condemns US President Trump’s atrocious statement of taking over Gaza
Shri Provash Ghosh, General Secretary, SUCI(C), issued the following statement on 06-02-2025: The whole world is stunned at the most atrocious statement of US President Donald Trump, trusted representative of ruling American imperialism that US will “take over” and “own” the besieged enclaveofGaza after resettling Palestinians residing there elsewhere. This high-handed announcement upending decades of US policy towards the Israeli-Palestinian conflict was made by him while addressing a press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Trump expressed hope that the Palestinians would leave their motherland and would “go to other countries”. Such an utterance is tantamountto talking of ethnic cleansing. This once again lays bare the overlordism and brigandish face of US imperialism which, it appears, has gone a step ahead from extending its sphere of influence to virtually colonize various lands including sovereign countries. Just the other day, Trump spoke of gaining control of Greenland, the autonomous Danish territory. We once again reiterate that US imperialism, the worst enemy of mankind, is unbridled in absence of the mighty socialist bloc and the only way to thwart such international gangsterism of the Pentagon regime is to spearhead in right earnest an organized well-coordinated anti-imperialist movement round the globe by anti-war peace-loving people. We are sure that along with us, the right-thinking people of the world would severely condemn this imperialist tyranny to bully others to submission. We also demand that the right of the Palestinian people to free their motherland from illegal occupation and military assault of Zionist Isreal, aided and abetted by US imperialism, ought to be honoured and voice must be raised throughout the world in support of that.
