AIKKMS Tamil Nadu State Committee organised an impressive rally and demonstration at Batlagundu town by the farmers from several surrounding villages of the Town of Dindigul District on 14 February demanding water for drinking and irrigation by implementing the Vaigai-Sothuparai-Majalaru irrigation scheme. Comrades Nagammal, All India Executive member, Govindarasu, President and Surulirajan, AIKKMS State Secretary, addressed the gathering of the farmers.
