SUCI(C) expresses deep shock over death of innocent citizens in a blast near Red Fort
Shri Provash Ghosh, General Secretary, SUCI (Communist), has issued the following statement today: “We are deeply shocked at the death of around 10innocent citizens and grievous injury to many more due to a massive blast near Red Fort, Delhi, a highly populated area and a spot of tourist attraction. The government is claiming this to be a subversive activity. We strongly feel that the government cannot fight shy of its prime responsibility of ensuring safety and security of the citizens. We demand that the government ought to be more vigilant in securing life and property of the countrymen and a proper investigation to the incident be conducted in right earnest, the culprits arrested and meted out stringent punishment. We also demand adequate compensation to the bereaved families and best of medical treatment to the injured at government cost.”
