Ceasefire call by US marks victory of people's protest — SUCI(C)
Comrade Provash Ghosh, General Secretary, SUCI(C), issued following statement on 24-06-25 Being forced by the anti-war protests of peace-loving people round the world including the soils of US and Israel, US President Trump had to beat retreat and announce suo motu that Iran and Israel have agreed to a ceasefire of 12-day old war. It is a victory of the global anti-war peace movement and the firmed determination of the brave Iranian people to protect the sovereignty of their motherland. World people including the citizens of US and Israel need to remain vigilant against any recurrence of such a war of aggression by the imperialist powers, maintain pressure of their anti-war stand and remember that so long as imperialism would exist, it would continue to generate war.
