SUCI(C) demands immediate repeal of the three Black Criminal Laws Shri Provash Ghosh, General Secretary, SUCI(C), issued the following statement on 01-07--2024:- “Defying public opinion and voice of the jurists as well as other eminent personalities, the BJP government has implemented the three Black Criminal Laws today. The Laws though claimed to be in replacement of the earlier ones legislated during colonial regime are in fact more draconian and stringent and slated to turn the country into a Police Raj. It is clear that the BJP government is determined to carry forward the undeclared emergency and fascist autocratic rule it has been continuing for last ten years to make life further disastrous for the toiling masses. We demand immediate repeal of the Laws and call upon all democratic-minded people, jurists and intelligentsia to raise united voice in support of this demand.”
