SUCI(C) calls for observing 1 November 2023
Comrade Provash Ghosh, General Secretary, SUCI (C), has issued the following statement on 29-10-23: "Ignoring worldwide people's opinion to stop war at Gaza (Palestine), Zionist Israel, with the backing of US and other imperialist powers, is killing hundreds of children, women, youth and old people daily, destroying their houses, huts, hospitals and belongings, creating blockade on supply of water, food, electricity and medicines reminding the horror of Hitler's holocaust. India abstained from voting when UN adopted a resolution to stop war at Gaza going against Indian people's glorious tradition in favour of freedom, anti-imperialism and peace and against US imperialism and its allies. This further proves how close the bond is between Indian Government and US imperialism. We call upon all well-meaning people of the country to strongly stand against Israel's dreaded attack and destruction at Gaza and condemn the stand of India in UN. Our Party has decided to observe "Stop aggression on Palestinian people" day on 1 November '23 all over the country by organizing protest demonstrations."
